HCL Comnet: I think, HCL Comnet is not a BPO or any callcenter. It is basically a Remote Infrastructure Management System (RIM). This Organisation is dealing with different types of clients for the Technical Supports and also provides the best resolution and service for thier clients, that's why they are enlarging their workspace day by day.......you can also search it out.........

HCL Technologies: About HCL Tech. i'm just having a little bit of info., This organisation is basically related with the Software developement........they are using new technologies like java, .net, sql, oracle etc and providing good products to their clients.........

Comnet deals with the core networking solutions... which means it has got domestic for the indian customers  and global operations for its foriegn customers...

Domestic deals with the implementation like MPLS, VSAT, IP phones and many more.... ( Like configuring the routers, switches lively....

Global deals deals with remotely configuring the routers, switches for the global customers from a location.... Comnet has got couple of global offices like this, one in chennai and the other in noida...

HCL Comnet is not a BPO as believed. HCL Comnet is into remote infrastructure management. To make things simple, many big businesses have outsourced their own infrastructure maintenance needs to HCL Comnet.  For eg. many big businesses which are spread all across the globe and having offices in many countries have very huge and complex networks, complex database designs and implementation, etc. a few of the technologies which are used in Comnet are Citrix, MCSE, DBA, CISCO, Lotus Domino, SAN, WAN, Exchage Servers, Active Directory etc. very very rewarding to work with Comnet. Guys don't even believe this, I have working in comnet during last 1year, after leaving WIPRO.

You don't get (other than TCS) a fair company like HCL Comnet.
As on HR policy till now I am not facing any problem.

Comnet is gud for fresher only. No doubt they have sum gud projects but dey really dun know how to keep talent. they boast of youngest middle management while most of the managers r pretty old and so da work culture very much old indian.

HR is pathetic...but they keeping praising themself...they say they their motto is employee first...but god how fake this is...

They r in remote support but they have third grade talent available in market..

Full of local bhai bahen ppl out der...

They hardly encourage their employee to ask questions

God knows if they evr have courage to questions their clients too

No doubt they take pride working for comnet

surprised how top level management works der

HCL Comnet is one of the leaders in IMS (IT management Services) player you could link it to Back process office in-turn but to my understanding the IMS has three
parts, distinctions, layers, divisions whatever you want to call it so the layout is as follow

1.
Customer ------- > 2. Help desk
(usually a call loging steps where customer get ticket number or case numbers)

Then comes the service support or service delivery where customer gets actual support and solutions it is not mere the day to day system, network managements the IMS take complete responsibility of the clients IT operations some companies also calls IMS as ITO (IT operations) but IMS is the term used mostly and according to the ITIL

If u planning to join HCL then go for HCL technologies. Because comnet is worst and also u wont get any extra benefit form it, like Saturday & Sunday allowances, hike if u perform or any bonus. Comnet is force to work u like slave 24x7 days that is also without any allowance. When u try to leave the organisation, they will block your salary upto your notice period.
