Please specify whether you are using mouse or key board for cut/copy.......and do u have any particular test case template.If u have any please send me if not I can write in the format which we use.

Hi,Cut/Paste and Copy/Paste in an excel sheet can be done through..contextmenu,toolbar,Keyboard options(Ctrl+C ,Ctrl+X,Ctrl+V)Here are some of the TestCases:Using Context Menu:1)Edit a cell in the Excel sheet and type some text.2)Copy the text in the cell by rightclicking and selecting the copy option from the context menu3)Point the cursor in another cell and Paste it by right clicking and selecting the paste option from the context menuUsing KeyBoard short Cuts1)Edit a cell in the Excel sheet and type some text.2)Cut/Copy the text in the cell by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V.3)Point the cursor in another cell and Paste it using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+VUsing Toolbar short Cuts1)Edit a cell in the Excel sheet and type some text.2)Cut/Copy the text in the cell by using the Toolbar cut icon.3)Point the cursor in another cell and Paste it using the Toolbar Paste icon.You can even write testcases by selecting Edit->Cut/Copy and Edit-->Paste optionsMultiple testcases can be written using each of these different options.

Test case for cut/Paste in XL

=>Verify that the Excel is install in your computer or not.
=>Verify that the Excel is open and work carrectly
=>Verify that the text is cut and save in clipboard after cutting a text.
=>verify that the Text(which is cut by cut command) is paste in the place where you want to paste.
