Ya u can do manualy testing for Web. Manual testing is place great role in testing. And Itz impossible to do load testing with out Tool.

Yes manualy testing like checking short keys like toggle for F8 and spell check and maenu list on every page. like that there r so many things r there. if u wanna know more just mail me lavaqa@gmail.com. I will send u some material

Hi !

For testing web appl'n manually there are many scenarios u need to check eg navigation images links correctness dynamic info etc etc ...

For Load test u again need manual approach eg hitting same link at a time jot down response time of appl'n under test...how much time url take to display complete page when more than 1 user doing same stuff..but this approach 've limitation ...hope this will helps ....!

Load test can be done manually...but the response time wont be that accurate...its better we go for automation since the tool can also generate vusers...so one can check the response time and at what time the system performance degrades...
