QA is more over prevention thing which works towards non occurance of error- were as tesplan come s in testin i.e in quality control  which works towards how to identify defects/errors

A QA Plan is in general guidelines to ensure all the softwares produced are as per industry standards.  However a Test Plan is with reference to a single softwares test which should include all the functionalities of the software in test

QA plan : Quality Assurance is the activity performed to prevent the occurance of errors in the total project. Hence, QA plan specifies the ways to follow to prevent the occurance of errors in product development.

Test Plan: Testing is the activity performed to prove the confirmance of the application to standards.  Hence, a test plan specifies the ways to follow to prove the confirmance of an application to standards.

QA Test: Another name of the QA is nothing but Project Manager. So Test Strategy is a document and it specifies required test to be applied on corresponding test.

Test plan: Test lead develops test plan document through implementation of Test Strategy by PM.  Test plan defines "What to test", "When to test", "Who to Test", "How to test".

Hi,QA Plan mean Quality Audit Plan, It is more towards adherence of the Process followed during a SDLC. Generally it comprises of different Audits like Project Audit, Interim Audit, Work Product Audit, Backup Audit etc. The only purpose is to review or check at any point of time that the process or the standards laid by the company are followed every time or not in each and every project.Test Plan. Planning the Testing activities before doing it. It comprises of Planning Testing Strategy, Objective & Scope of Testing, Scheduling of the Testing Activities, Defect tracking & logging process, Resource scheduling and requirement, Resumption & Exit criteria.
