hiHZ is used for the customer tables. As for receivables its AR, for payables it AP. for customers in oracle apps HZ is used and TCA also uses HZ before its table name for easy identification of cutomer tables

hz stores the customer information

some table which stores customer information

hz_parties     -> store oraganization and people information

hz_cust_accounts -> sores customer informatiom

hz_cust_acct_sites_all->customers site info like bill-to ship-to

hz_cust_site_use_all->stores the business requirement of the site

hz_location->physical location address of customers

HZ is a profile option. All the customer related tables starts with HZ
