Logical Database is an ABAP pgm which retrieves data from various tables

which are interrelated and provides a readolny view of the data.

LDB are standard SAP programs that retrieves (selection) data from different database table known as nodes, does screening of data as for the selection criteria given in the selection screen and does the auto authorization check.
