                             IF I=2

                             IF R=2

                           E=2*2*2=8

                              I/2=1

then                    E=1*1*2=1




E is proportional to I
so if I decreases E also decreases

e = i*i*r

now if i = i/2

now e = i/2*i/2*r

therefore e will decrease 4 times
