As the efficiency of doing work is 1:3 the days required are less for A.so propotion will be x : 3x = y-60 : yafter solving xy=90 sp y = 90/xfor A , x =1 so y = 90for B, x= 3 so y = 30par day work 1/90+1/30= 4/90so to complete the whole work time required 90/4 = 22 and 1/2
