The ability of the four candles to burn, respectively, is 5h, 4hrs, 3h, and 2h, respectively, is ignited in one cell at the same time. They are lit up in the chamber until the moment the three candles are extinguished in the room. If the cost of burning each candle is 75 paisa per hour, the total expenditure will be?

The candles are lit simultaneously. They burn for 4+4+3+2=13 hours (till 3 candles extinguish).
so total cost is 13*0.75 = Rs 9.75
