How I share my Broadband internet connection

How I share my Broadband internet connection (ISP-BSNL modem UTSTAR - UT300R2U) to my other computers. They are connected through HUB (8 port). OS-Windows Xp

Are you using Ethernet Modem?...If so
Configure Modem to provide IP to clients
Configure modem to provide DNS to client
Connect the modem to hub
connect the system to hub
In sytem LAN settings select obtain IP and DNS Automatically.
Now check you are getting IP?. Ping to the IP address of the modem.
If you recive reply...OK
Now you can browse
