TO begin with , one has to understand that as a lead / manager you cannot make all your resources happy. First step in being a team player from a lead stand point would be not asking them to do things which you cannot do. You should gain trust of the team members. If one manages to do these things , you will have most of your team on your side.

Yes I agreed that Hikes and promotions are not possible for each and every employees, but we should always realize them with this truth to them and also gave them the secured answer with no any conflict that your future and secure is bright with me... you will definitely grow with me and my team... I ensures your bright future but it will take some time... which you have to give me from your end, till that you just focusing on your work and dont compare your growth with others because you are very special to us...
