You don't have to install any additional packages. It comes in-build with Solaris 10 operating system

SUNWmdr - Solaris Volume Manager driver
SUNWmdu - Solaris Volume Manager commands
SUNWmdx - Solaris Volume Manager drivers (64-bit)
SUNWlvma - Solaris Volume Management APIs
SUNWlvmg - Solaris Volume Management Application
SUNWlvmr - Solaris Volume Management (root)
SUNWvolg - Volume Management Graphical User Interface

to know the version use the command:
