How will you regain the logins (/etc/passwd) if you have corrupted the file ?

Copy from /etc/opasswd, /etc/oshadow file or by the utility pwconv

if you have a backup you can restore the spicefic file. other my not have idea, if you know pls updae me

Run the command "boot -f failsafe" which takes you to the single user mode and correct the /etc/passwd file bring up the system.

First of all we have to create the file that is /etc/opasswd file that is duplicate of /etc/passwd file, whenever the /etc/passwd file is corrupted we can use the /etc/opasswd file and copy the contents of /etc/opasswd to /etc/passwd and we can use it.
