Remote Connection

If you have client in a different location and want to access that client from server, What is the best way to access that client from server?

You can find the client in Active Directory and use remote desktop from there or you can click start then run and type the command "mstsc" which opens the remote desktop program, type in the computer name or IP address you want to connect too and log in.

The best way I think so is to take remote connections by "MSTSC" or otherwise you can also use the software "DAMEWARE" which allows yourself and the client to use machine one at the same time i.e simultanously.

Windows XP and higher version of operating system - My Computer -> Properties -> Remote (tab) -> Tick Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop -> Apply -> Ok
If you know the PC name or IP of another PC - cmd -> mstsc open one screen give the system name or IP, and that pc username, password gives you can access it.

Different location means somewhere far? if systems are on different servers then When we will us MSTSC (Remote Desktop Connection) to access system in different location then from the client system we will Remote Access to the Server and from Server we will Remotely Access the other location's Server and from that server we will access the clients of that location. Its the most reliable way. And if you have Internet access in network then you can use third party Remote Access Applications like TeamViewer. IN TeamViewer you can access any system directly through internet.

(MSTSC) Microsoft Terminal Services Connection, but from the client end remote desktop option must be enabled to access remotely either client or server.

If Client machine is from same network/domain and Remote Options are Enable from Client side then mstsc is best option. Also vnc viewer is useful in same network.
Beside above we can try with Team Viewer and other multiple third party softwares.

we can use following tools like tightvnc-2.0.4-setup.exe which comes in 2 setup one support winxp and another support vista and also have facility to save our client pc with its host name so we can take remote any time only though click on saved short cut so its easy no need to know that pcs IP address , team viewer local connectivity option and also through mstsc remote support through team viewer or vnc remote application.

If users Located as client location and they are facing some issue so we can take the remote session if users belongs to corporate network so take RDC and they belongs to Public network so we can take the remote using Cisco Jabber,Any desk, login123
