Sn = a/1-r

a=4  r=1/2 

total = 8 + 2*Sn

      = 8 + 2* 16

      =24

i go with a/(1-r) where a=8 and r=0.5 therefore the ans would be 16.

Answer is not absolute value it is tends to zero.br />First half of 8 mtr
Then half of 4 mtr
Then half of 2 mtr
so on...
