There are 2 balls touching each other circumferencically. The radius of the big ball is 4 times the diameter of the small. The outersmall ball rotates in anticlockwise direction circumferencically over the bigger one at hte rate of 16 rev/sec.The bigger wheel also rotates anticlockwise at Nrev/sec.what is N for the horizontal line from the center of small wheel always is horizontal

hai this is manohar.

can i know  how u got that answer.

if small ball rotates 16 rev/sec then larger ball should have less revolutions than the smaller one na.

Ans:- 2

1rev for small ball=2* pie*x(where x is dia of small ball)

1 rev for big ball=2*pie*4*2*x=16*pie*x

in 1 sec small ball moves 16*2pie*x=32 pie*x

assuming the linear velocity of both ball same N=32pie*x/16pie*x=2
