110 / 16 = 6.875 meters per min

Catch ... its the round trip time. so velocity of stream compensated upstream/downstream.

Distance travelled :110mts
Time taken :16min

In one min Distance travelled is :110/16=6.875

This 6.875 is not in still water hence actual velocity is (6.875+or-3)mts
