1 minute division=360/60=6 degree

so for 8:30

minute hand is on 6 while hr hand is in middle of 8 and 9

6-7 =5min =5*6=30 degree

7-8 =30min

8-8.5= 15 min

total angle=6-7+7-8+8-8.5

              =30+30+15

              =75 DEGREE

The hour hand on a clock moves 360/12 = 30 degrees per hour.

So at half past any hour, including at 8:30, the hour hand has moved 1/2*30 = 15 degrees from the position at that hour, or at 8 o'clock.

The minute hand is at the digit six. If the hour hand were at the digit 8, the angle would be 360/12*2 = 60 degrees. But because the hour hand has moved 15 degrees by this time, we have an angle of 60 + 15 = 75 degrees.

each 5 minute takes angle=360/12=30 degree
so gap between 9 and 6 hand=((6-7)+(7-8)+(8-9)/2) gap
=(30+30+30/2) degree angle
so angle between 8:30 clock=30+30+15=75degree
so answer is=75degree

The given time: 8:30. Therefore 8:30 is also written as 17/2. Then (17/2) — 30 [where 1 hour:- 30°]. After that 30 — 6 [where 1 minute:- 6°]. Therefore the final answer is = [(17/2)—30] - [30—6]. = 255 - 180 = 75°
