Physical partition :- Forest, OU and Dc

Logical :- Schema partition, domain naming partition , application partitions and infrastructure partition.

Active Directory Logical components are Forests, Trees, Domains, OUs and Objects.

Active Directory Physical components are Domain Controllers, Sites and subnets.

Active directory consists of a series of components that constitute both its logical structure and its physical structure.
Logical : Object, OU, Domain, Tree, Forest.
Physical : DC & Site.
