What is job commit in Datastage?

What is job commit in Datastage?
If I am working on parallel jobs, how can I give this option(in each odbc satge) that commit should perform after specific number of records transaction.
Please help

Its a property of DB2/UDB Enterprise Stage. You should normally use the input property Row Commit Interval to
specify the number of records to insert into a table between commits. Previously the environment variable
APT_RDBMS_COMMIT_ROWS was used for this, and this is still available for backwards compatibility.

In DRS stage you have Transaction Isolation ,Set to "read committed".And set Array Size and Transaction Size to 10 ,1000.So that it will commit for every 1000 records.
Please let me know,If I am wrong

Hi Im not sure which version of datastage you r using..this is pretty much simple in Datastage8.5 by using DTS
