Find Ages

A fathers age is reverse of sons age. One year back fathers age was twice of sons age. What is the fathers current age?

Let the unit place of father age be x and ten place be y
Father age = 10y+x
Son age =10x+y

According to question:
10y+x-1=2(10x+y-1)
10y+x-1=20x+2y-2
8y=19x-1
(8y+1)/19=x

On substituting and testing we find for y=7 we get an integer  value x=3
Hence father age = 73
Son age = 37
