BGP stands for Border Gateway Protocol, BGP is used to communicate to a particular peer on network without disturbing the whole network in an organization.

Boader gateway protocol, is basically use with OSPF protocol,
In OSPF,network is divided into small area,that AREA will be communicate with using boarder gateway protocol

Border gateway protocol is internet protocol. When you on internet many different organizations communicate and may change their routes also. BGP is used to manipulate those paths. Administrative distance of ebgp is 20(As they ebgp neighbour changes routes directly with ebgp hence most trustwothy.)

Administrative distance of IBGP is 200 (as it works on igp learnt routes then how can its ad value more than IGP and IBGP(i.e external eigrp has AD value of 170) that is why IBGP has AD value of 200.
