Basically there is only one type of V model and the extension of it is W model

Benefits of V model

1. We document all the phases
2. Before coding we are well prepared with test cases
3. We have oppurtunities to review all documents before testing, which has an edge on minimizing the bugs
4. Time of completion of project is less
