Hi , depending on the user requirements we have a team of Business Analysts who would approach the client to get the requirements. Once they had the requirements then business requirements Document would be generated in which the detailed info is there, such as flow of an application, inputs & outputs, data types, testing data etc. It would be documented in a way that it is accessible by the relevant staff in the company.

A BRD is the Business Requirement Document.  It is typically produced by the Business Analyist.  This document specifies a program's requirements from a purely client-centric perspective.  It provides comprehensive descriptions on how customers will use the program.  Developers use this document to produce code and create the program, while testers use this document to create test cases and verify the quality of the program.
