Time taken by Tom is equal to Hare,
Speed of Hare is x, speed of tom is 1.33x
distance traveled by hare hare is y, traveled by tom is 1.33y
sin inv(1/1.33)=48.6 deg
in northeast direction

let the speed of the hare is x
then speed of tom is    4/3x
let the taken is t
so xt^2+250^2=4/3xt^2
so we can find the xt and 4/3xt from here
and the total distance(xt+4/3xt)travelled by them
