Hi,

Yes for that reason we use Remote agent, one machine should have a remote to get accessing on client machine/another machine,

This practise is done usually when a company a comany don't have license but i want to run it's test through remote agent it can use client QTP tool, becz this company may not have license so it uses remote agent to get access & to run the test.

So the deal is

QTP scripts are stored in QC on machine A. Users want to kick off the QTP scripts and run them on machine B.

QTP shd be installed on machine B.

I tried doing it using the remote agent..........where in you have option to run QTP scripts in hidden mode.  QC did connect to the host but I did not see any test results after the run.

My answer: Select the Host machine on which you plan to run the scripts. In the Test Lab go to Test sets>Host Manager and select the appropriate host.Click the run button and you should see QC trying to connect to the selected host machine.  QC will launch QTP on the host (machine B) and run the script.

Pls let me know how it works at ur end
