atleast one object in the class must be present in the other class so that they can have a join n ofcourse the datatypes.

Hi ,

First thing you have to create connection with the DataBase which you want to work on it .

Then you can take tables and put them in the Universe and starting analyzing them .

Universe requirements

1) Database connections which you manually select
2) Classes and objects which maps the data from tables and columns of database
3) Create or automatically extract joins
4) Set cardinalities
5) Control to limit size of rows and execution time
6) Set SQL queries
7) Links - if you want to link universes (kernal and derived universes)
8) Parameters for joins, group by etc.
