1.There is log weighing 30kgs. The log having twice thickness and twice short as first one will weigh howmuch ?

Hi. I didn't get the part 'twice short'.

Anyway if we consider it half in length then it weighs 60 kg and if we consider it twice in length then 240 kg

the answer 2 this prob is that the log wid 2 thickness n half long wud be Twice heavier than d previous log.

reason is : volume of cylinder is : pi*r*r*h , so r=2r n h=h/2 , so volume gets twice

the radius becomes 2 times ie. r=2r now (due to twice thickness) and h=h/2 so height is now half.

so the ans is 60 acc to the formula pi*r^2*h
