The following list the Operating Systems that QTP supports, please refer:

- Windows 2000-Service Pack 3 or Service Pack 4

- Windows XP-Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2,

- Windows 2003 Server.

Note: QuickTest Professional is supported on Windows XP Service Pack 2 only if the execution prevention mechanism (also known as DEP-data execution prevention and NX-no execution) is not activated

I believe this answers your questions and will thereby close this service request. Should you require further clarifications, please do not hesistate to let me know. Thanks.

QTP suports only windows platform.

we can't work with any other OS... Even you can't install QTP Tool in that OS.

We have to believe only for windows platform

Also When i am opening QTP and any saved script, my F9, F10 and F11 buttons are not working. means that in QTP, if i want to assign breakpoint, QTP is showing that features disable. have you ever faced such kind of problem before. please let me the reason.

Go to Properties of My Computer.
Select Advanced Tab
Performance -> Settings
Under that you will find DEP - Data Execution Prevention

The short answer is no, QTP is not supported in Unix environments (any of the flavors of the Unix OS are included in the "no supported" statement; Linux, BSD, HP Unix, Solaris, etc).
 How do you automate testing in those environments? Write some Unix scripts I suppose. My favorite shell is Bash...if that helps.
