let us assume y*y is the square cut at four corners.
After making open box let us assume x*x is base area and y is the height.
volume=x*x*y=128
so possibilities are :
1)8*8*2 => initial side =8+2+2 = 12
2)4*4*8 => initial side = 4+8+8 = 20
3)2*2*32 => initial side =2+32+32=66
so, answer is D.
