Hi, I am working as journalist in electronic media. I want to shift over to BPO/Call centres because I want to make more money. I am strong in 2 areas. One journalism and the other communication sklls. So I think its time to bank on my communication skills.. your suggstion please

BPO/Call centres is not a right option for your to make a switch.As you have specified you are strong in journalism and communication skills you could do variety of jobs like writing in web,editor,management side and so on without leaving your present job.

I am 2005 passed out degree in civil engineering i am present doing gniit courses in NIIT will the software companies think twice to recurit and civil student compared to computer student.does break for 4 month like with out job will result something bad in career later

Regarding the break in career though it may not affect your job they may question you about this in interview for which present your answer in a best manner.I would suggest you to finish your gniit course well which wuld surely get you a good future.All the Best.

The choice of java or .net purely depends on your interest as both have very good options for career.As far as the coaching centers make a study in you area and get a detailed study of which provs best in terms of training,teaching,etc.. and join the same.All the Best.

Prasad, SAP-HR is a good option. However, with your huge experience, I am afraid it you may not necessarily get a role necessarily to you expectations since you do not have any formal background in HR...

Though on the outset you have to put more effort to get a career in SAP-HR you can get it a great career if you first take a training in SAP-HR and then proceed with your job search.

Start Functional as there are a lot of job opportunities there and you can get an heads up in the field more than the technical side and then later on start looking into technical stuff to. this will give you a head start and you will have the experience you need

I hope that you want to become a database administrator.For that you must first choose the database your would like to get into,get indepth knowledge in general about database and internals and then specific indepth knowledge on the database chosen by you and so on.

Generally major IT Companies lay emphasis on academic background. B.A Degree that too with Correspondence does not seem to fit in current requirment scenario. The best bet for you is to try build your career as a freelance J2EE expert.Thanks

I would suggest you that it is really a good idea to take up MBA degree and you can do it as part time without leaving your present job.Once you finish the course you can try more better options in your career.All the best.

DWH is ofcourse a very good field.But having gained so much years of exp in QA I would suggest you to stay in you current field as far as the career is concerned. BUt you could always widen your knowledge in DWH and use it as and when needed.

You can choose the career you like. But decide on whether you want to take up auditing or systems analysis. I would say decide on any one of these and go deeply say master into that which would give a bright future for you in the chosen area.

I am 28 years of age. i have done b.sc from c.u. after that i have done advanced diploma in system management(3 years). I have worked with a reputed organization as a faculty in ms technology s for 2.5 years and 6 months in bpo. I have been doing MCA while working. Now i am in my final semester.
