Since, it rained for 13 days means that family X has enjoyed 6 mornings & 7 afternoons(total 13). That means for remaining 10 sessions has been enjoyed by the family X in 5 days only(2 sessions a day).SO, answer 13+5=18.Family X was there for 18 days.

For 1st question answer may be 40.A & B starts with 40 marbles.In first run, A wins 20 means total at A=60 & that of B=20.Then A looses (2/3)rd means now total at A=20 & B=60.
