To me, a BO Consultant is a person not only with good technical expertise on the subject but also has knowledge on the domain(retail, banking, pharma etc), and ofcourse has analytical skills and skills to work independently (self reliance is the biggest aspect). He who can talk to the client, stakeholders face to face and provide with a solution or atleast direct them towards achieving their goals. Also it is expected of you to adapt quickly to a new role, work with different clients and switch technology to other BI tools if required...

2.Clarification interactions
3.Technical specification documents
4.Development(Reporting & Universe Design)
5.Unit testing
6.Scheduling
7.Interactions with client and as well as team

---------------If it is Support Project-------------
1.Maintanance (Reports & Universes)
2.If client come with CR(Change Request), we have to interact with client for clarifications to update reports and universes
