The difference between Core Java and Java is
Core Java : It will covers all basic things like OOPS concepts, Exception Handling, Collections, IoStreams etc

Java : It will also covers oops concepts and all above mentioned Core Java concepts and it is extending to Core Java. In this we have use JDBC, Servlets, JSP,...etc
