Aptitude Power Unit Question

A power unit is there by the bank of the river of 750 meters width. A cable is made from power unit to power plant opposite to that of the river and 1200mts away from the power unit. The cost of the cable below water is Rs.15/- per meter and cost of cable on the bank is Rs.12/-per meter. Find the total of laying the cable

29 mice are required to test the cans.
As the time constarint of 24 hours is mentioned, I think this is optimal.
We can discard 30th can as even if one mice dies, we can find the poisoned can.

River width=750 m
Bank width=(1200-750)=450m
Cost of cable along river=750*15 =11250
Cost of cable along bank=450*12=  5400
Total cost of cabling =11250+5400 = 16650
