Actually he manages the test team and serves Project Manager.

He has following responcibilities:

Understand testing effort
Estimate test effort and allocate resources and budget for testing
Organize test kickoff meeting
Develop test strategy
Develop test plan
Arrange H/W and S/W required for test set up
Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents
Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager
Attend the regular client call and discuss the weekly status with the client.
prepare test reports
