Explain the limited local and database only properties in Framework Manager? Why do we use these properties?

"Limited locally" and "Database only", those are called as query processing methods.

Database only:  All queries are processed by Database instead of Cognos. If it is failed 
                           you can get an error and Report won’t run.

Limited Locally: Cognos is allowed to process the Queries, which cannot process completely on the database.

We use these properties in order to improve the Report Performance
