Why are you moving from development to testing

Would like to move from development to testing. as our HR people are asking better reason..just i am posting what would be the best answer that i can tell them.

In Testing We can get chance to work on different environments like Java, .NET, ERP etc.
If you take devlopement, we can see only one environment.

Anitha, I am not agree with your answer. I am having 8 yrs of experience out of which 5 yrs as a developer and 3yr as a tester. If you are in development then also you will get the chance to work on various platforms. I love testing bcz, I like to know about complete product rather than working on single feature. And if your background as a developer then using automation testing you will used your coding knowledge very effectively. So remember automation tester must me manual tester.
