Business Rules is nothing but, some conditions given for the requirement or changes in the application flow. below i gave an example for the business Rules.

For a Web Application Prohm Business Analyst gatehered the requirement for Login Page as.

1. New User for the Site would register  with the Username and Password.
2. The Secure page should be navigate by the user with valid username & password.

Here the requirment is given for the process. for this more condition given as "Business Rules"

a) Username should be accepted as more than 6 charcters and less than 10 characters.
b) Username shoule start with Alphabets
c) Username may be alphanumerics
d) Username should not accept special characters.
e) Username is not Case sensitive.

This conditions also gathered through requirement is called "Business Rules"
