One person is wearing Black and White shoes as his pair. If he is having 20 white and 20 Black shoes. What will be the less number of time he have try to take his correct pair of shoes.

its depend on choosing any pair or a particular color. so if he wants to get a white color pair correctly then......10 white shoes with (left) 10 balck shoes with(right) but he need of particular color black 10 balck shoes (left) last one 31 white will match if color is not specific it will be 21 attempts

It shd be 3 times as 1st time he get black 2nd times it migt again black then he get crrct combinationif it is white in 2nd round then in 3rd round it mit be black or wit so in 3 rounds he must get the crroct combination

if the question's saying he has 20 white shoes and 20 black shoes including the shoes the man is wearing...

if the man chooses to wear black pair and takes off the white shoe he is wearing, and tries on 19 remaining black shoes one by one to find the correct one, then the ans. will be 19 times.

but i don't quite understand the question clearly.

If there is no specifications about right & left leg shoes, answer is 38 times. Because, there are 20 black shoes, its possible to wear 19 times.. And other 19 times is for 20 white shoes..

If there is specification like right and left leg shoes, then
10 left and 10 right shoes. he may select 1 from left and 1 from right.. it takes 10 times for black and 10 for white shoes.. So, answer may be 20 totally..
