It is not possible. The load testing activity is not performed to test performance of server machines. But to test the performance of application and/or web-server, and/or application server etc.

1. Load Testing is expensive activity hence it is performed only when some serious need arises. The purpose of the activity is not to identify PRBLEM but to identify the ROOT CAUSE of some problem.

2. Scripting before hand is not possible, (even if it is possible, it is useless) becasue you perform load testing once product is stable (regression has been done many times)

3. If you got a patch against some problem found in load testing, and you want to measure the performace again; it is best suggested to re-record the scrip instead of using existing scripts.
