What is the difference between Product-based Company and Projects-based Company?

As of my knowledge,
Product based company have their own products say ex. Microsoft.

Project based company is basically a service company do services for product company based on some mutual agreement (Wipro as a service company do the work of Microsoft)

Product:         whole company/world will produced one s/w based on  market requirement.  Project:         s/w  will developed based on client requirement.  
Project-bases comapny : Basing on the specific customer.

Project Based Company means it will develop something based on the particular customer's requirements which used by that custmer only.
Example:  Software companies develop projects based on the particular client's requirements.
