Yes, they can interact with the clients directly, since a client can be internal like the end users, managers and supervisors within the company.

It depends on the project to project it is not always the same that we do interect with the clients directy,some time there will be a team whom might be interecting with the client and gives you the requirement and if have questions either we do talk with that team or our maganer.

Yes, business analyst can directly talk to client because he is single point of contact for client and company, business analyst can play a role of coordinator for project, business analyst have job to understand all the stakeholder requirement to deliver the feasible solution, It is also depends on the organization structure between client company and services provider company, for higher level meetings where contract and project planning discussion done it may possible business analyst not required and project manager would require to attend meeting where some quick decision required to answers the customer questions, business analyst have not that much of rights so that time manager is required to meet customer, but sometime a manager and business analyst role handled by the same person if the project is not large.

Yes, business analyst can interact with client directly with the permission of management. Because business analyst is going to analyse the requirement and design the product. If he/she is interacting with client directly they can understand the need of clients and according to that they can analyse the requirement in user point of view and also clients need.
