Tickets also called as Problem Tickets/Incidents/Bugs?

Users using the SD System finds some functionality should work or it was working but it is not working now (after a recent production release) ?

How does he report ? The only way is to raise a problem ticket and notify/assign it to the concerned User group (could be Technical/Bussiness group).

The concerned user group will act upon the ticket and

  1. Will fix the problem (if the problem is true)
  2. Will write comments suggesting to the User that the system is working as it should
  3. User could also be instructed to follow these steps to fix the error.

In the real time process, end user faces the problems with regards so many things(shipping point determination, storage location determination, output determination etc ).

These problems will come to the supporting consultants in the form of ticket through a tool called ticketing tool(tool name like radix).

These tickets will be assigned to the concerned consultant by the team leader or project manager.

concerned consultant has to solve these tickets bases on the priority.

In Simple words any error or problem which you face while in the process is called tickets
