Does Robot save the script automatically when we compile it?

We have to create a folder for the project so the testdata store will store there.
In that when we compile the robo scripts the scirpt will be stored in the similiar path any machine.

Yes it automatically saves the script...compilation is saving.

Yes , the Robot save the script when we compile it. After compilation when we close the robot window it does not ask for saving , which means that the script have saved already. So there is no need for further saving.
