System Conversion could be seen in two different Scenerios.
1. The Process will be changed.
2. Database will be changed.
According to these two scenerios A bank Can change any process. for example the loan process could be changed so the data flow will be in a new shape.
In other scenerio Bank can do the database conversion for example convert their database from legacy system (i.e COBOL) to Oracle.

Moving from one software or hardware platform to another. Rather than the usual functional changes the aim is to keep the system functionally the same but move to the new platform.
