Vc, Vd---Velocities of C & D.......x-------- is half of the distance......(x-9)/Vd=(x+9)/Vc------------------------(Time to reach is equal....)Vc/Vd=(x+9)/(x-9)---------------(I)(x-9)/Vc=13.5 and (x+9)/Vd=24 (Times to cover the rem distance...........)then, Vc/Vd= 24(x-9) / (x+9)13.5------------(II)Equating (I) & (II)(x+9)/(x-9)=16(x-9) / (x+9)9Solve this to getx=63, then Total distance =126..........
