What is the difference between enhancement and defect?

Enhancement:Our defect is rejected because our defect is related feature requirement of customer.

Defect:It is found by the test engineer when the  build received from the customer

Hi all,

Mismatch between actual result and expected result is called defect.

Enhancement means enhancing the build by adding new features(New functionalities). Resolving the bugs is not an enhancement.

hai friends im not agreeing with u r defect answer deviation fom expected to actual is failure

defect is manifestation of an error also called as bug, fault

Enhancement is add new requirement to existing system
