A Project is suppose to be complete in 100 days. then how many days it need to be testing the entire project?

Its assumed generally for any product/project testing, the effort would be 70% of the development effort.so if we calculate it would be around 41days for the testing.But truly speaking we need to analysis w.r.t the no. of qa resource in hand and type of developement( itrative,v,waterfall, spiral, agile,etc. models) being used.
