I am 40 years old and at presently implementing ERP ( oracle 9i) in my organization. I have expertise in Finance Module and at the same time quite comfortable with other modules.Pl advise whether I can work as functional consultant in any organization or whether learning oracle 9i and chaning career as developer shall suit ? Since you are stating that you have expertise in Finance Module and are also quite comfortable with other modules you can opt for functional consultant while at the same time sharpening your knowledge base at your leisure.

there is huge demand of functional consultant for ERP based software spl in FICO

so i suggect you to go ahaed with functional area rather development part.

if you can go for training the please go for Microsoft navigen ( its new but can pay you lot)
